Join us for an incredible opportunity to see and learn as much about Uluru as you can. You'll spend 30 minutes learning how to ride a Segway, before Segway riding to explore the most scenic section of the base of Uluru (approx. 1 hour) After this, dismount from your Segway and enjoy a guided walk into Uluru's Mutitjulu Waterhole, where you can marvel at awe inspiring scenery. Later your guide will take you to explore incredible caves on the Mala Walk, where you can view ancient Aboriginal rock art and take a deep dive into learning about Aboriginal culture, history and geology. Finally as the sun drops on the horizon it's time to set up an intimate picnic, right at the base of Uluru. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and picnic nibbles as you watch the colours on Uluru begin to change at sunset.

Come and join your SEIT Tour Guide to explore the most profound and culturally significant monolith in Australia. Departing the resort, the tour will travel through the landscapes to the entrance of the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. From this point, it is only a matter of minutes before the spectre of Uluru rises from the sand dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in this country. Our first stop allows you a photographic opportunity of this amazing icon. With Uluru looming in front of you, you journey toward the base. As you drive around the base, your guide will take you to the entrance of Mutitjulu Waterhole, a semi-permanent watercourse nestled in the contours of Uluru. Here you will learn the Creation stories of Liru (venomous snake) and Kuniya (woma python) as well as a number of other stories associated with other prominent Tjukurpa (Creation) stories. You will see the rock art of the Anangu people and learn how Uluru was, and still is, a significant location for teaching young Aboriginal people. We then adjourn to the new Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area where you will observe an uninterrupted view of Uluru with Kata Tjuta in the background as the sun sets. Revel in the peace of the desert as you enjoy a chilled sparkling wine. Your guide will then return you to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort.
